Arroz La Perla Foods
In 1925 Teodoro Alepuz Greus, a farmer from Benifaió dedicated to the production of native varieties of rice, decided to market his own crop under the name of "La Perla de Benifaió", a brand with which he began to sell the rice he cultivated In some stores of the city of Valencia and surroundings.
By circumstances of the time, Teodoro ended up dedicating itself exclusively to the production of rice. From then until today, his family has continued to grow rice in the Natural Park of the Albufera of Valencia.
In the year 2013, his family, decided to resume their grandfather's project by creating the "Arroz La Perla" brand and thus culminate his dream of marketing the family's rice production under their own signature.
