Valtravieso Crianza Red Wine
DO. Ribera del Duero
Varieties:
Tinta Fina, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot
Tasting Note:
Crianza is one of the flagships of the Valtravieso house, where the other wines of the winery are inspired and made great. Made with a great, solid base, with fundamentals, with a great personality and a perfect reflection of what Valtravieso intends to offer with its wines.
And this Crianza is wonderful, at first it shows its shyness, which invites you to move it in the glass, so that it opens up. The wine needs time to show itself as it is, and I recommend that you lend it to it.
Once it loses its shyness, fruity aromas emerge, currants, strawberries... then, compotes and jams. Finally, the aromas of its passage through oak, spices such as cloves, the slight memory of hummus and roasted aromas, with a pleasant sensation of bread toasted over wood.
The mouth is clearly driven by the freshness of its lively acidity. Making it friendly and fresh, super drinkable! Fine, melted tannins complete the mouth, with a precise volume. Surprising game between power and kindness.
This Crianza is a seducer by trade, he knows how to dazzle little by little until you fall in love with him. Perhaps the secret is the dose of merlot and cabernet that make it sexier. Just in case, I would always have a bottle at home for whatever might happen!!!
