Varietal Composition: Picual
Elaboration: Made with olives of the Picual variety, from the Cazorla, Segura and Las Villas Natural Park and with the quality certification of the second oldest Designation of Origin in Spain, the D.O. Sierra de Segura.
It has been produced in a traditional and natural way and preserves all the organoleptic characteristics of the olive.
Tasting Note: It is an Extra Virgin Olive Oil with an exquisite green olive flavor, slightly bitter, spicy and very balanced, greenish yellow in color, intense fruity smell and approximate acidity of 0.5º.

TAVARA LANDS (OLEOFER SL)
The Sierra de Segura, “TAVARA” as the Phoenicians called it, is an isolated treasure northeast of Jaén. Located in the Cazorla, Segura and Las Villas Natural Park, its oils capture the flavor of its fruits, the affection of its people and the good work of its traditions.
The Sierra de Segura has a long oil tradition, not in vain, the D.O. Sierra de Segura was the second created in Spain. Its extra virgin olive oils are endorsed by the regulatory council of the D.O. and has the identifying seal of the Council recognizing its quality.
The Denomination of Origin “Sierra de Segura” has a historic olive grove since around 80% of it is between 75 and 100 years old and the olive grove is almost exclusively of the picual variety. The Extra Virgin Olive Oils with the Sierra de Segura Designation of Origin are characterized by the natural environment in which they are produced, high mountain olive groves interspersed with pine forests. Its color is greenish yellow and varied fruity aromas prevail (apple and tomato, preferably) and fresh grass that combine with the bitter and spicy fresh fruit characteristic of the picual variety.
The Olive Oils qualified by the Regulatory Council of the Sierra de Segura Designation of Origin are of extreme quality, Extra Virgin, with very low acidity, it does not exceed 0.5º, well below the acidity allowed for extra virgin olive oils. (0.8º).
