Elaboration
A project to recover old olive trees is carried out , to conserve and enhance the essence of oil past centuries in La Rioja.
The oldest olive trees, varieties that are only found in the area, are treated withspecial care, because the olives give
Carpeum a unique aroma and flavor.
Tasting notes
In tasting presents banana and apple aromas, with hints of strawberry.
For the palate is creamy, balanced, without acrimony, leaving the palate, silky, long and nutty.
Oil mill
For three generations, the family has grown olive trees in La Rioja.
All processes are aimed at finding the highest quality without forgetting its commitment to the environment.
The plantation is located in Quel, La Rioja, altitud 350 m. It is the most northern part of Spain where olive trees can be grown. This location along with the olive trees of local varieties Empeltre, Redondilla, and Royuela Machona CARPEUM make a different oil.
